How each session is structured

Sessions run as live webinars with screen-sharing, not pre-recorded lectures. An instructor models an asset in real time — explaining topology decisions, UV layout choices, and export settings as they work. Participants can ask questions through the chat at any point.

After each session, you receive the reference files used during the demonstration. Assignments are reviewed individually, with written notes on what to adjust before the next session. Progress depends on consistent practice between meetings.

Live demonstration

The instructor builds an asset from scratch during the session — no pre-prepared geometry, so you see every decision as it happens.

Guided assignment

You recreate a similar asset using a provided brief. The brief specifies polygon budget, texture resolution, and target engine — the same parameters a studio would give.

Individual feedback

Submitted work is reviewed with specific comments — not generic praise. Notes focus on what affects performance or visual quality in an actual game context.

Portfolio-ready output

Each module ends with a finished, engine-exported asset. You own it and can include it in your portfolio without any restrictions.

What software do I need installed before the first session?

The specific tools depend on the module. Most programs use Blender for modelling and Substance Painter for texturing — both have free or trial versions. The program page lists exact requirements so you can check before purchasing.

Are sessions recorded if I miss one?

Yes, recordings are available to enrolled participants for 30 days after each session. Live attendance is still recommended — the interactive Q&A portion is not fully captured in the recording.

How much time per week does a module realistically require?

The live session runs for two hours. Assignments typically take between four and eight hours depending on your current speed. Expect to set aside around six to ten hours per week to keep pace with the material.

Is there a minimum skill level required to enrol?

Each program page specifies the assumed starting point. Some modules expect you to already know basic navigation in a 3D application. Others start from the very beginning. Read the prerequisites section carefully before enrolling.

Can I enrol in multiple programs at the same time?

Technically yes, but most participants find that running two modules simultaneously makes the assignment workload difficult to manage. Completing one module before starting the next usually produces better results.
